Endoscopy is a technique used to examine the interior regions of hollow organs, especially the upper part of gastro intestinal tract. The following are the indications, in which endoscopy is required.
Symptoms in the digestive system like abdominal pain, gastro intestinal bleeding, difficulty in swallowing, nausea, vomiting.
In treatment such as cauterization of a bleeding vessel, widening a narrow esophagus, clipping of a polyp or removing a foreign object.
